Three days ago, we reported that Alain Bartlomé was in try-out with the SCL Tigers. That being true, Tomas Tamfal corrects: "We focus on our own youth and won't sign Alain Bartlomé".

In their training camp in Füssen, Germany, SCL Tigers' forward Juraj Kolnik has suffered a back injury. He is currently under medical treatment and is expected to be out for the next eight weeks.

Marco Pedretti, who had to leave the ice during HC Ambrì-Piotta's last test-match, is not too well. "I think he will be back on the ice next week, just as Fabian Lüthi", coach Serge Pelletier says. Also Paolo Duca has taken a hit, but it is nothing serious: "A matter of days". Concerning the situation of Jason Williams, Pelletier calls for patience - the goal is just to bring him back as quickly as possible.

Good news for Lausanne HC: Codey Bürki (groin), Florian Conz (wrist) and Thomas Deruns (hip) have all recuperated and are back on the ice. Furthermore, their test-import Andreas Nödl is making progress as well, he might already play against Banka Bystrica in Yverdon on August 27.

A special case of whistleblowing at the Diners Club Arena: The Lakers' mascot "Leyki" broke into the office of marketing director Thomas Walser and discovered the new shirts.
