The 33-year-old forward has been without contract since he had to leave EHC Biel at the end of the last season. As HCD's head coach Arno del Curto tells Dino Kessler (Blick), they now have four weeks to get him in shape.
Splyo had been part of the Seelander's organisation for six seasons. In the 2015-16 season, he appeared in 37 games for them, scoring ten goals and 13 assists.
