As Omar Gargantini (RSI) writes on Twitter, the son of HCB Ticino Rockets' head coach Éric Landry is rumored to be a person of interest.

Manix Landry, 20, is in possession of a Swiss player's license. He would therefore not count against the limit of ten import licenses. According to Gargantini, rumors from across the Atlantic Ocean suggest that HC Lugano and HC Ambrì-Piotta are in contention for the services of the young center.

Landry is currently playing in the QMJHL for the Drummondville Voltigeurs. He was traded to Drummondville at the end of December from the Gatineau Olympiques, the team for which he played since 2018 and captained for more than two seasons. In the QMJHL, Landry scored 48 goals and collected 82 assists in 233 games.
