The newspaper reported on Thursday that Buck was set to leave ERC Ingolstadt effective immediately, even though his contract is valid until 2020. The 29-year-old forward was not in the lineup last night.
Buck was part of the now-defunct EHC Basel Sharks in the 2013-14 season but then decided to sign with Ingolstadt in 2014. In 26 games for the DEL team this season, he has put up seven goals and six assists.
