Damien Brunner is set to stay within the organization of the New Jersey Devils as the Swiss right wing has cleared waivers yesterday without being picked up by another NHL team until the deadline.
The 28-year-old is currently in his last contracted year after he signed a two-year deal ($2.5 million annual salary) following a brief training camp try-out in 2013.
