Swiss League

As Filippo Lombardi, president of HC Ambrì-Piotta, tells La Regione, the team has not been pulled from the Swiss League.

That does not mean that everything has been resolved, though. There are still some details to be ironed out (among them where the Rockets will play next season). Lombardi was not able to provide further updates on the HCB Ticino Rockets' situation. Still, this means that Arosa will definitely not get a shot at playing in the Swiss League for now.

Adrian Fetscherin of EHC Arosa was, however, not amused by how the case of the Rockets was handled, as he told the Oltner Tagblatt on Monday upon request: "The federation treats us unfairly. The SIHF has not received any registration, let alone the necessary documents from the Ticino Rockets until yesterday [April 30]."

EHC Arosa then announced on Monday evening that they would play in the MyHockey League in the 2023-24 season and once again voiced their displeasure: "As of yesterday, the deadline for the registration of the teams for the respective leagues has expired. [...] EHC Arosa has not been contacted by the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation."
