EHC Olten's Schneuwly and Bucher to retire

Cédric Schneuwly has been dealing with hip problems throughout his career and has now decided - at the age of 26 - to hang his skates up. The forward has appeared in 283 Swiss League games as well as in 91 National League games.

Bucher, for his part, has finished his degree and is now looking to gain some experience in the private sector. The 30-year-old defender has appeared in 414 Swiss League games as well as in 98 National League games.

In other news, Clarence Kparghai is now eligible to play with the team. Colin Gerber, too, will be available to Olten for the entire playoffs but can be recalled by SC Bern. EHC Olten has also not acquired more B-license player. They are content with the roster the way it is.
