As Le Matin reports, Genève-Servette HC and Nick Spaling have agreed to terms for next season. They activate the option for an additional year.

The 28-year-old Canadian signed a one year-contract at the beginning of this past season, with an option for another year with the Grenats. As Le Matin reports, the club and Spaling have agreed to activate this option. The forward will thus play another season with the Grenats.

Last term, the forward was able to put up 16 goals and 26 assists in 45 games and was the team's top scorer. Prior to his first engagement in Europe, Spaling suited up for several NHL teams. Throughout his career, he scored 55 goals and 81 assists in 494 NHL games.
