Raymond, who played last year's Spengler Cup with Team Canada (three goals and three assists), is SC Bern's fifth import player already. The 31-year-old winger has an experience of 609 NHL games, in which he was able to put up 123 goals and 148 assists for a total of 271 points.

During this past season, Raymond suited up for the Anaheim Ducks. Prior to that, he played for the Calgary Flames, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Vancouver Canucks.

Besides SC Bern, Raymond was also brought into connection with EHC Kloten and HC Davos. The latter had already made him an offer last season, which Raymond turned down due to family reasons.
