As team manager and head coach Christian Dubé tells the Freiburger Nachrichten, he assumes that David Desharnais will not continue his career after this season: "He has never officially told me, but it is probably going in that direction." Whether Dubé's prediction will become true, remains to be seen.
Desharnais' contract is not the only one expiring. 13 players will be at the end of their contract in spring. However, Dubé is not in a rush, especially regarding the import players. He has, however, been talking with Nathan Marchon, but nothing has come of it yet as the forward is not yet ready to make a decision about his future. The same applies to Connor Hughes.
