"I feel better [...] It is always frustrating when you can't be out there. I kind of ran out of time at the end there," Roman Josi told journalist Alex Daugherty.
Asked whether he had been close to a return, the Swiss defenseman said this: "It's hard to say I skated a couple of times. It's always with this injury... It's day-to-day I guess. You just kind of have to be patient. [...] I tried to push a little bit to get back because we did not have many games left, but I ran out of time."
Josi had been out of the Preds lineup since the game against the Winnipeg Jets on March 18.
