The 22-year-old forward was knocked down by Alain Bircher at full speed and had to be helped off the ice. He was not able to return to the lineup afterward.
EHC Biel will also have to make do without Kevin Fey for longer than expected. As the team announced last night, the defenseman is dealing with a ligament injury in his wrist and will likely require surgery. He will be out of the Seelanders' lineup for two to three months.
