Damien Brunner missed the last game because of a back injury he sustained in the game against HC Fribourg-Gottéron last week. Valentin Nussbaumer, for his part, had been announced as ill before the last game.
However, the Bieler Tagblatt reported that Nussbaumer was kept out of the game due to him being in close contact with Tino Kessler, who was tested positive for Covid-19.
As already reported earlier today, HC La Chaux-de-Fonds' Mathias Trettenes will reinforce EHC Biel for tonight's game. Elien Paupe will be in the net.
