Swiss National Team

As Julien Sprunger tells ATS Sport, he has not completely shut the door on a return to the Swiss national team. The forward took a step back from the team due to "family reasons" about a year ago.

"I did have some discussions with Patrick Fischer, when he took the team over", says the 30-year-old forward. "My personal situation has not fundamentally changed, but we have decided to resume discussions after the playoffs. I cannot say more about it."

Sprunger has played in almost 130 games for the Swiss national team. For HC Fribourg-Gottéron, he has scored 25 goals and 11 assists in 43 games this season. (mso)
