The 19-year-old forward is suspended for a check to the head of Sweden's William Nylander, who had to leave the ice after the hit and did not return to the game. Thus, Egli will miss the entire preliminary round, but would be back in the lineup if Switzerland advances to the playoff stage.

Furthermore, Fabian Heldner, who was handed out a match penalty in Switzerland's 3-8 loss against Sweden, will also miss tonight's game against Denmark. (mso)
