EHC Biel will appeal against Marco Maurer's 11-game suspension

As a consequence, the SIHF tribunal will have a closer look at the incident. Maurer was suspended for eleven games and also has to pay a fine of CHF 2,350. If the tribunal upholds the initial decision, the defenseman will only be eligible to play again as of Game 6 of a possible Playout Final. A video of the incident can be found here. (bsc)
