For the next three years, Andrea Brändli will call Örnsköldsvik home. The club of the city, MoDo Hockey, has offered her a contract for their women's team in the SDHL. Brändli thus leaves Boston University and the NCAA to start her professional career in Sweden.

"I am incredibly looking forward to starting my new journey in professional women's hockey at such a prestigious place as MoDo Hockey. I know this is the best step I can take to develop as both a player and a person, and I'm looking forward to getting started" states Andrea Brändli.

Björn Edlund, team manager of MoDo Hockey is very happy that Andrea chose to come to them: "She is a class goalkeeper with a lot of experience at the international top level, where with Switzerland she has always faced the best teams in the higher seeded group. She has also had several successful seasons in college".
