Champions Hockey League

The CHL board has discussed the current situation and they came to the conclusion that the 2021-22 season will not be accounted for.

They have reached that decision because of the impact Covid-19 had on this year's tournament: teams missed players due to quarantine, games were canceled in the playoffs, and so on.

All participating European leagues will thus have the same amount of teams as representatives as in the 2019-20 season. Five teams of the National League will thus be able to play in the 2022-23 edition of the Champions Hockey League.
