SC Bern's Eric Blum and Simon Moser to miss World Championship

SC Bern's defenseman Eric Blum (photo) and forward Simon Moser will miss the upcoming IIHF World Championship, the Blick reports.

According to the same source, Moser fractured his foot and is, thus, not able to play for the national team this season. Eric Blum, on the other hand, sustained a severe bone bruise in his left hand in Game 5 of the playoff final, as Klaus Zaugg (Watson) reported yesterday, and will consequently miss the World Championship, too.
