Rundqvist sustained the injury during HC Thurgau's last game on Friday, when they went up against EHC Olten. He will be out until further notice.
In 20 games so far this season, the Swede with a Swiss license has recorded four goals and three assists.
Another player not available to the Lions today is Frantisek Rehak. The forward is currently with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, as they are dealing with some injury troubles themselves.
