The Washington Capitals thus lost two players at once in last night's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Siegenthaler left the ice right away, apparently experiencing pain in the shoulder/neck area.

The Capitals announced so-called upper-body injuries for both players and further medical examinations, which are set to take place tomorrow.

This season, Jonas Siegenthaler appeared in eight games for the Capitals so far (one assist) with an average time on ice of 18:17 minutes.
