Medical Report

The ZSC Lions' 36-year-old veteran suffered the injury in the game against EV Zug on Saturday and is considered day-to-day.

Day-to-day: Severin Blindenbacher

Blindenbacher has strained a muscle, the Lions inform. That he is considered day-to-day by the Lions' medical team indicates that the injury is not too serious, though. On Saturday against EVZ, the defenseman was not able to finish the game.

It is thus uncertain if Blindenbacher will be present when the Lions face Genève-Servette HC on Tuesday. Already last season, he missed 20 regular season games due to injury.
