One of the sidelined players: Denis Hollenstein
For their first game of the ranking round against HC Fribourg-Gottéron, the ZSC Lions are without the above-mentioned players, as they are all dealing with injuries which most of them have been playing through. Now that they lost out on the race for a playoff spot, the team has decided to rest those.
In their stead, players from the GCK Lions will be given chances to play on the highest level. Today, Alexander Braum, Willy Redi, Yannick Brüschweiler and Justin Sigrist. The latter two have already suited up for the ZSC.
