Jason O'Leary to become the head coach of the Iserlohn Roosters?

"I am not aware of anyone having signed a coaching contract with us," the Iserlohn Roosters' team manager Christian Hommel tells the newspaper. O'Leary, for his part, also begged off answering the question, as his team is still busy playing against HC La Chaux-de-Fonds in the first round of the Swiss League playoffs.

O'Leary has a valid contract with the EVZ Academy until 2020. However, he has an out clause in his deal which would allow him to leave the Swiss League team this summer.

The 40-year-old Canadian has been coaching in Switzerland for the past seven seasons. From 2013 to 2017, he was part of SC Langenthal's organization, winning the Swiss League title with them in 2017. In the 2017-18 season, he made his first experiences as an assistant coach in the National League with Genève-Servette HC.
