It is a return for the 27-year-old Everberg, who already suited up for Rögle BK from 2007 to 2014, before he left Sweden to try his luck in the NHL with the Colorado Avalanche. "I really look forward to coming home and being reunited with several old team mates from the junior time in Rögle," the forward says.
Everberg's return to Sweden is probably in part also family-related. During the playoffs, his girlfriend gave birth to their daugther. As the Neue Zürcher Zeitung reported a week ago, EV Zug would have been interested in extending the forward's contract.
For the past five months, Dennis Everberg has been part of the Kolinstädter, for which he appeared in a total of 41 championship games (16 goals, 20 assists).
