Fora only played in one game for the Canes' AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers. According to the AHL Transaction List, having cleared waivers, he would have been reassigned to their ECHL team, the Florida Everblades. Now, however, he will see his contract terminated.
The 22-year-old defenseman signed a two-year contract with the Hurricanes back in June. The former HC Ambrì-Piotta player was reassigned to the AHL in mid-September.
