SRG now has the rights for all games involving the Swiss national team, one quarterfinal game, both semifinal games as well as the final of the World Championships. All other games of Worlds have been sublicensed to Cinetrade.
Furthermore, SRG will also show the semifinal games and the final of the Champions Hockey League if there are Swiss teams involved. The rights for the distribution on Pay-TV of all games also have been sublicensed to Cinetrade. The corresponding agreements with Infront Sports & Media apply for six seasons from 2017-18 to 2022-23.
As for the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup, they will hold the rights for the final game until the 2021-22 season. Should there be a semifinal game involving two teams from the Romandie or two teams from Ticino, RTS and RSI will be able to broadcast those, respectively.
