"Of course we want Linus to play in Luleå, but as it is now he has a valid contract with Geneva for next season," Luleå's assistant GM Ulf Engman says to Expressen. The newspaper, however, writes that talks between the two parties about a return this fall have intensified recently.
At the end of January, already the Norbottens-Kuriren reported that Omark might leave Genève-Servette HC after this season. For that, however, Omark would first have to find a solution with GSHC to dissolve his contract.
This season, Omark has recorded 46 points (14 goals) in 44 games. He currently is the National League's third-best scorer, trailing only Rapperswil's Roman Červenka and Bern's Chris DiDomenico.
