The Swiss international and forward of Genève-Servette HC, Julian Walker, could soon hit the market due to a dissent between him and coach Chris McSorley. Furthermore, the "Corriere del Ticino" believes that HC Lugano would be interested in signing Walker to enforce their team even more.
After Dan Fritsche and Eric Walsky, Julian Walker would be the third Genevois who moves to Lugano this season. As the journalist Marco Maffioletti tweeted, Walker told him, that "right now I'm still in Geneva, we'll see what happens" - everything else than a clear denial.
The 27yr-old forward has already played for HC Ambrì-Piotta from 2008 until 2012 before joining Genève-Servette HC. He played a total of 429 games in the National League A and scored 52 goals and 81 assists.
