According to the Russian website sport-express, recently-crowned Gagarin-Cup champion Avangard Omsk is interested in Brendan Perlini. The forward has been part of HC Ambrì-Piotta for the second half of this past season. He recorded nine goals and seven assists in 21 games in the National League.
Avangard has also secured themselves the KHL-rights for Peter Cehlárik. The Slovak has spent the season in the Swedish league with Leksands IF but has announced that he will make use of his out-clause. A move to Switzerland has also been brought up as a possibility.
