As the Tribune de Genève reports, Goran Bezina might soon return to Genève-Servette HC.

According to the newspaper, the 36-year-old was already in talks with Genève-Servette HC: "We had already discussed a possible return for Christmas with President Hugh Quennec," Bezina told the newspaper. "But it would have been stupid if I returned after two months." Bezina left the Grenats last summer to play for Medvescak Zagreb in the KHL. In 51 games, the defender was able to put up four goals and 14 assists.

Bezina has a valid contract with the Croatian club until the 2016-2017 season and must, therefore, be released by Medvescak Zagreb if he wants to return as soon as possible. However, faced with liquidity problems, the Croatian club could lend its defender to lighten the payroll.

In addition, Francis Paré, winner of the Spengler Cup with Team Canada, might follow Bezina to Genève-Servette HC. As the same source reports, the 29-year-old forward could be released by Zagreb as well.

Nevertheless, none of these information has yet been confirmed by Genève-Servette HC.
