In an interview with Planète Hockey, HC Fribourg-Gottéron's Alexandre Picard talks about his career and his current life in Fribourg, where he would very much like to stay if it is possible.

"I would love to stay in Fribourg for a while", says the 30-year-old defenseman. "However, I have not yet started to discuss a contract extension [with the club] nor has my agent."

The former third round pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins joined the Dragons this summer and has been able to score one goal and four assists in the 17 games he has appeared in since his arrival from ERC Ingolstadt. (mso)
