The ZSC Lions have announced the departure of goaltender Ludovic Waeber and forward Lucas Wallmark. Both would still have had two years left on their contracts.

Waeber is making use of the transfer agreement between the National League and the NHL, which allows players with an ongoing contract to move overseas before June 15. The 26-year-old joined the Lions in 2020 and made exactly 100 National League games for them.

As for Wallmark, the Swede requested the termination of his contract, as he would see his future elsewhere. The 27-year-old wore the Lions' dress 57 times and put up ten goals and 28 assists.

Two more imports will not be returning to Zurich coming season - Garrett Roe and Justin Azevedo. Both of their deals have run out and will not be renewed.
