As Klaus Zaugg (Watson) reports, HC Davos has agreed to a contract extension with Andres Ambühl and also pulled off a capital increase.

Andres Ambühl stays with HCD until 2025.

"A two-year extension will do justice to the achievements of this exceptional player personality," HCD's CEO Marc Gianola confirms the contract extension with 39-year-old Andres Ambühl to Zaugg. Ambühl's current contract with HCD would have expired at the end of the season.

Moreover, Gianola explains that now that Ambühl will stay with them, they are no longer interested in EV Zug's Lino Martschini, 29, whose contract also expires next spring.

In addition to the successful contract extension with Ambühl, HC Davos will also complete a capital increase until the end of October. CHF 4.5 million are flowing into the company. According to Zaugg, a good part of the money comes from investors around Zurich.
