Thomas Rüfenacht will be practicing with HC Lugano for three days during their training camp in the Lenzerheide, the Oltner Tagblatt writes. Whether he is able to convince them to extend his try-out or he will return to EHC Olten remains to be seen. It would not be his first stint with the Bianconeri, as he spent two seasons with them ten years ago.
One of the other players on a try-out with Olten, Timo Haussener, might have a future with the Mice. There apparently seems to be mutual interest, but a contract would only be signed once the forward has recovered from his current upper-body injury.
