According to Klaus Zaugg (Watson) that deal has, however, been dissolved and Šimon Hrubec is thus free to join another team. If Zaugg's sources from Prague are correct, he will join the ZSC Lions on a one-year contract.
For now, team manager Sven Leuenberger has yet to confirm anything, so it remains to be seen whether the Czech will truly become a member of the Lions.
Hrubec appeared in 40 regular-season games for Omsk this season, posting a .922 save percentage. He was also part of Czechia's team for the Beijing Olympics.
