After six seasons in North America, the last of which with the Detroit Red Wings, Christian Djoos has decided to cross the Atlantic Ocean and return to Europe, where he will suit up for EV Zug. The Bulls, who were in need to replace Raphael Diaz and Santeri Alatalo, have signed the 26-year-old to a two-year deal.

"After the departures of Raphael Diaz and Santeri Alatalo, we had to find an equally capable replacement in the defense," explains EVZ's team manager Reto Kläy. "We have found this with Christian Djoos. He is in his prime and will help us with his skating qualities and a good vision on the ice."

This season, Djoos collected eleven points in 36 games with Detroit. Over the course of his career, he played 180 NHL games and 206 AHL games.
