As Janick Steinmann, team manager of the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, tells MySports, Melvin Nyffeler and the Lakers have agreed to continue their working relationship for at least another season.
The 26-year-old goaltender is currently in his fourth full season with the Lakers. He has recorded a .913 save percentage in the 23 games he suited up for them this season.
Janick Steinmann is also in talks with Roman Červenka, their leading scorer, about a potential contract extension. The Czech's deal will also expire at the end of the current season.
