While it is still unclear if and how many spectators will be allowed in Swiss hockey arenas this fall, the clubs have started working on safety concepts for several scenarios. According to the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, they all agree on a basic concept. Its core points: only personalized seats, a mask obligation within the arenas - and only fans of the home team are allowed.
For staff and players, Swiss Ice Hockey has already published new rules of conduct on their website for the new season. Among them: no excessive celebrations, a mask obligation in the penalty box if there are more than two players, and no discussions with the referees.
