Matthias Bieber and Daniele Grassi both have been part of SC Bern's organization since the 2018-19 season. It is not yet clear where the two forwards, who are both currently sidelined with injuries, will end up playing next season.

SC Bern also has two import player spots to fill for next season. According to Reto Kirchhofer, Cory Conacher is a potential candidate. Team manager Alex Chatelain met with him during his North America stay.

However, the 30-year-old forward will not make his decision any time soon and the Bears have other players they are interested in. Ever since his departure from the capital city in 2016, Cory Conacher has suited up for the Tampa Bay Lightning.

While he mostly plays in the AHL, he gets the occasional NHL game in. This season, he recorded one assist in four games for the Lightning. He also put up eleven goals and 13 assists in 29 games for the Syracuse Crunch.
