The 37-year-old defenseman would thus bid farewell to hockey with almost 1,000 National League games played.

La Liberté reports there are rumors that the Michaël Ngoy will retire from professional hockey at the end of the current season. He would thus not suit up a fifth season for the Biancoblù.

Ngoy made his debut in professional hockey back in the 1999-00 season with Lausanne HC. He stayed with LHC until 2005 when he joined HC Fribourg-Gottéron. Since 2016, he has been part of HC Ambrì-Piotta. This season, he has recorded three assists in 19 games.
