Will HCL's Heikkinen leave Switzerland in direction of the KHL?

Rumors have been circulating for a while that HC Lugano's Finnish defenseman Ilkka Heikkinen wants to leave the Bianconeri. Although Lugano's team manager Roland Habisreutinger said that there is no sign of Heikkinen wanting to leave the club, Fribourg-Gottéron's coach Hans Kossmann now adds fuel to those rumors.

Gottéron is looking for a sixth import player themselves and Heikkinen would be an option, as Kossmann confirms in the Freiburger Nachrichten. However, he does not think that a signing of the 29yr-old Finnish defenseman would be realistic: "As far as I heard, Heikkinen doesn't want to leave Lugano just to move to another Swiss club, but to move to the KHL." Also Kossmann is sure that Lugano wouldn't let Heikkinen sign with another Swiss team.
