mt_ignoreAccording to Nicola Berger (Neue Luzerner Zeitung), the league has apparently rejected the protest EV Zug filed in their 2-1 shootout loss against HC Lugano last night.

The Bulls had contested Fredrik Pettersson's shootout goal, claiming that the Swede had shortly moved backwards in his successful shootout attempt. However, a protest can only be successful if the officials made a technical mistake, factual decisions made by them cannot be contested. (mso)

UPDATE As the SIHF announces, the single judge has rejected EV Zug's protest. A decision about a goal is a "decision based on facts" and can thus not be a reason for a protest. (bsc) - 4 March 2016, 8:24 PM
