What Marc-André Berset (RTS) reported late last night, has now been confirmed by HC Fribourg-Gottéron. They have signed Czech forward Roman Cervenka to a one-year contract.

The 30-year-old forward played for Piràti Chomoutov in the Czech league and has scored 69 points in 56 games this past season. Cervenka had already been of interest to several NLA teams in the past summer. His contract will be valid until the end of the 2016-17 season. (mso)
