Check to the head - HCFG's Killian Mottet suspended for one game

Due to a check against the head of HC Lugano's forward Mark Arcobello, the 30-year-old will miss the first game of the new year.

When HC Fribourg-Gottéron will take on EV Zug at the Bosshard Arena on January 2, Killian Mottet will not be there. The forward has to serve a one-game suspension, which was issued to him after he hit Mark Arcobello to the head in the game on December 22. Moreover, Mottet has to pay a fine of CHF 2,500 for the incident.
