Nicolas Baechler suffered an undiclosed foot injury in Switzerland's second game of the group stage. The GCK Lions' forward will be out for the tournament and has to travel back to Switzerland on Friday, the SIHF announces.
Head Coach Marco Bayer has nominated Tim Muggli (EV Zug) as a replacement. Furthermore, EHC Kloten's defender Luca Deussen has been given the last spot in the Swiss roster. Both will play in the upcoming game against USA.
