The new schedule has not yet been finalized, but it is already clear that there will not be any games until December 23. The original plan was that each team can get in two games ahead of the World Juniors to get acclimated to Edmonton and Red Deer.
The main event, the World Juniors, is scheduled to start on December 26, the final is supposed to be played on January 5. Switzerland will play its first game on December 26 against Russia.
