Jalonen joined SC Bern as head coach in 2016 and just led them to their 16th Swiss Championship title in club history. The Finn still has a valid contract in Switzerland's capital city until 2020 and recently reaffirmed in an interview with the Neue Zürcher Zeitung that he intends to honor it.
