Hazen collided with EHC Winterthur's Zack Torquato in the 17th minute of play and left the ice in pain. He did not return to the game. The newspaper did not disclose the nature of his injury.
The 29-year-old forward is the second-best scorer of the league and has recorded 30 goals and 34 assists in 31 games for HC Ajoie.
