Due to sustaining an injury in Tuesday's preparation game between EHC Visp and EVZ Academy, Josephs will be sidelined until the Swiss League season kicks off in September, as Le Nouvelliste reports. The nature of the injury has not yet been disclosed by his club.

The 25-year-old Canadian signed with Visp last May after spending the latter parts of the 2018-19 season with Storhamar in Norway. Before that, he had spent all his professional career in North America.
